“ The roast beef was excellent. My husband said it is like they removed all the fat before serving it, and the portion was huge. Chicken strips, onion rings and pizza were very good too. Not greasy at all. Yummy pies. Reasonable prices. ”

“ This is small town diner at it's best. Local friendly and accommodating staff. My friend asked for an open faced burger topped with a load of chili, shredded cheese and onions. He was served the order as requested with a smile. The clam chowder was good and generous with clams. I ordered a blast from my past, fried mush (crusty on the outside with soft corn meal center) with butter and syrup. The pies are the cherry on top. Homemade and delicious. The diner was busy with local and touristy patrons. The smiling staff a mix of capped Mennonites and t-shirted youth. A great local experience. ”
“ I had a very nice early dinner here one evening, and the food was great. Both the flavor and the prices were wonderful. I had the chicken fried steak, and that came with two sides (I chose broccoli cheese soup and mashed potatoes). It was all very flavorful, and the soup really stood out to me as one of the best versions of that flavor I’ve ever had. I also got apricot pie for dessert. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the whole place felt nice and homey. It may be a bit old fashioned, but that really works here. Sometimes nothing needs to change. I’d definitely recommend Village Inn for a nice casual meal. ”
